Sustainable Golf Events: the Index

The Sustainable Golf Index allows tournaments, and their sponsors, to benchmark their progress in sustainability. Many of the companies sponsoring professional golf tournaments are faced with increasing demands on their reputation and sustainability. Between-us believes that these standards should also be maintained at events that companies associate their name with, providing consistency in Corporate Social Responsibility.

Luckily there is a notable improvement in the sustainability of events as the recent Olympics have demonstrated. However there is still a long way to go. The Sustainable Golf Index can help raise the awareness of golf events and assist them in developing a more sustainable approach.
